VISITING A NEW CHURCH CAN BE OVERWHELMING

What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit.

BELOW ARE A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT TO

EXPECT

At New Hope, our weekend experiences are an opportunity for you to connect with God as well as other believers in a casual, inviting atmosphere. Our services include modern worship, a relevant message, and a time of ministry and prayer. We offer childrens ministry, birth through fifth grade, at all of our experiences. When you visit New Hope for the first time, make sure to stop by Guest Connections—just outside the Auditorium—after the service to talk with someone from our Dream Team and get to know more about us.

What to Expect

TEACHING

Often we’ll teach a sermon series on a relevant topic and sometimes we tackle a book of the Bible. The sermon usually lasts about 35-45 minutes. If you want to hear a sample of the teaching before you come, all of our sermons are here at newhopepeople.com for your listening enjoyment!

worship

We have an incredible team of musicians and singers who give their best every weekend to make our worship experiences musically and spiritually amazing. It's all for one purpose—to experience God.

FAQ

WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?

We intentionally structure our children’s ministry (New Hope Kidz) to help children learn the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable and taught by committed volunteers and staff who serve Jesus by serving you and your kids.

     Security is important to us

When you drop off and pick up your child, we’ll make sure the numbers on your stickers and your child’s sticker match before admitting or dismissing them to or from class.

If you are a guest,

when you arrive you will be greeted by someone from our Dream Team. Our Dream Teamers will be happy to escort you to the appropriate area for your child, take you to the front of the line, and get checked in. At the check-in area, you’ll be greeted by a New Hope Kidz team member who will help you register your children. You’ll be handed a sticker with your name, your child’s name, what class your child is in, and a number that identifies your child. Should your child need you during the service, the number on your sticker will appear on the lower part of the screens.

where should i park?

PARKING DESC.

what should i wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

are you gonna ask for money?

We will have a time during our worship experience when we will pass the offering containers.  Offering boxes are located in the lobby as you exit the sanctuary. If you're visiting with us, we don't expect you to feel obligated to give. If you consider New Hope your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving. You can give by check or cash at weekend services or any time during the week when you're on campus, or you can set up an online giving account online at newhopepeople.com.
